Isamar Ponce was born and raised in Los Angeles but her family is from Colima, Mexico. Isamar earned her Bachelor of Arts from UCLA. She has worked with children as a 3rd grade teacher, a Mathnasium and Professor Egghead instructor, and a Confirmation catechist. Her knowledge and expertise in math, science, and religion are assets to St. Brendan School. She joined St. Brendan School in the fall of 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education at Mount Saint Mary’s University.

In her spare time, Isamar loves hanging out with her nieces and nephews, crafting and strolling through Target!
